The seminar, organized by the BIRTH Network (“Bringing Innovative Regions Together for Health”), aimed to reinforced the role of regions in facing the effects of climate change as well as helping the regions in searching new innovative alternatives of natural resources management and energy efficiency. Among other relevant speakers, the seminar counted with the participation of Professor Mr. Millán Millán, Director of the Center for the Study of the Mediterranean Environment, and was introduced by Mr. Georges Kremlis, representative of the Directorate-General for the Environment of the European Commission.
After the seminar, the participants had the opportunity to know examples of good practices, as the RuralE.Evolution project, by means of leaflets and factsheets.
